Terra Climate

Terra Climate combines readings from on-site weather stations with forecast and third-party weather data, and holds both against the farm's geography. Conditions are what turn a symptom into a risk, since a humid week following leaf spotting means something different from a dry one, so this module exists to make that context available to the reasoning layer rather than to a separate dashboard.

Illustrative. Forecast accuracy is a property of the forecast provider, not of Terra; the platform states which source a figure came from.

Capabilities

What Terra Climate does

Brings weather data and on-farm environmental conditions into the same picture as the crop.

Weather data integration
On-site stations and third-party weather sources are ingested together, with on-site readings preferred where they exist.
Local environmental monitoring
Conditions are held per zone where the instrumentation supports it, so a sheltered block is not described by the exposed block's numbers.
Forecast integration
Forecast conditions are carried alongside observations, which is what allows a risk to be raised before the weather that drives it arrives.
Temperature, humidity and rainfall trends
Accumulated heat, humidity duration and rainfall are tracked over the periods that matter agronomically rather than by calendar day.
Environmental risk analysis
Condition patterns associated with crop stress and disease pressure are flagged as elevated risk, with the contributing factors named.
Crop-condition correlation
Environmental history is aligned with observed crop and soil change, so a correlation can be examined instead of assumed.

Data flow

What it reads, and what it hands on.

Reads from

  • On-site weather stations
  • Third-party weather and forecast APIs
  • Environmental sensors from Terra Sense
  • Farm geography and zone boundaries

Produces

  • Unified observed and forecast conditions
  • Environmental risk indicators
  • Condition history aligned to zones

Request a Farm Assessment

Every agricultural operation has a different data footprint. Terra deployments are scoped according to the farm, existing hardware and required intelligence capabilities.

The assessment establishes what your existing hardware can support before anything is committed.
