Terra Soil

Terra Soil interprets the output of connected soil instrumentation: moisture at the depths a farm measures, temperature, salinity, pH and whatever nutrient-related channels the probes report. It compares zones against each other and against their own history, so a block that is drying faster than its neighbours, or a corner where salinity is climbing, becomes visible while it is still a trend.

Capabilities

What Terra Soil does

Reads soil conditions zone by zone and shows where a field stops behaving like one field.

Moisture analysis
Moisture is tracked at the depths the installed probes report and read against the zone's own drawdown pattern rather than a fixed threshold.
Soil temperature
Root-zone temperature is monitored per zone, which is what makes early-season and late-season differences across a field legible.
Salinity and EC
Electrical conductivity is tracked over time so accumulation is caught as a trend, well before it is visible in the crop.
pH and nutrient-related channels
Where instrumentation reports pH or nutrient-related values, they are ingested and shown in the same zone record as everything else.
Zone comparison
Zones are compared directly against one another, turning a farm-level average into a map of where conditions actually differ.
Soil anomaly detection
Readings that break a zone's established pattern are raised, along with whether the cause looks agronomic or instrumental.

Data flow

What it reads, and what it hands on.

Reads from

  • Compatible soil probes and sensor arrays
  • Gateway and telemetry feeds
  • Irrigation and rainfall records
  • Historical soil measurements

Produces

  • Per-zone soil condition record
  • Moisture, EC and temperature trends
  • Zone comparison and outliers
  • Irrigation-relevant indicators

Request a Farm Assessment

Every agricultural operation has a different data footprint. Terra deployments are scoped according to the farm, existing hardware and required intelligence capabilities.

The assessment establishes what your existing hardware can support before anything is committed.
